Because HUD's request for an expedited OMB review allowed only 3 days for public comment, we would like to provide the public with another opportunity for comment in the near future. Hence, we are unable to grant HUD's request for a full 3 year approval (2) Because HUD failed to indicate precisely why the burden for this information collection increased in item 14 of the supporting statement, we are unable to treat the burden change as an "adjustment, and have instead treated the burden change as a program change increase. If HUD would like OMB to reconsider our classification of the burden change, it should provide a specific explanation of the burden change to OMB.

MCKINNEY HOMELESS ASSISTANCE ACT, PROVIDES GRANTS AND INTEREST-FREE ADVANCES TO STIMULATE COMMUNITY-BASED LONG-TERM HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR HANDICAPPED HOMELESS PERSONS.
