Abstract: THE SE TASK FORCE IS IMPLEMENTING THIS PROGRAM TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF HUMAN OUTBREAKS CAUSED BY SE AND TO PREVENT HARM TO THE EGG-TYPE POULT INDUSTRY. DATA OBTAINED FROM THIS TASK FORCE WILL PERMIT USDA TO IDENTIFY THE NUMBER OF INFECTED FLOCKS AND THE EFFECT ON THE EGG-TYPE POULTRY INDUSTRY. THIS INFORMATION WILL ALSO PERMIT NVSL TO PLAN FOR SUFFICIENT SEROTYPING SERVICES, AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL TRACE-BACK TO REDU
