Abstract: REGULATIONS WITHIN PART 3100-3120 & 3150 OF TITLE 43, CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS CONTAIN PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A LEASE TO EXPLORE FOR, DEVELOP AND PRODUCE OIL AND GAS RESOURCES ON FEDERAL LANDS. THE BUREA OF LAND MANAGEMENT NEEDS THE INFORMATION TO PROPERLY IMPLEMENT THE PROCEDURES FOR ISSUING AND MONITORING OIL AND GAS LEASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW.
