Abstract: EPA REQUIRES OWNER/OPERATORS OF FOSSIL FUEL-FIRED STEAM GENERATORS TO MONITOR SO2, NOX, AND PARTICULATE EMISSIONS AND TO SUBMIT EMISSIONS DATA TO THE AGENCY QUARTERLY. IF EXCESS EMISSIONS OCCURED THE PREVIOU QUARTER, THE SOURCE MUST IDENTIFY THE CORRECTIVE ACTION TAKEN. THE AGENCY USES THIS DATA TO DETERMINE IF UNITS SUBJECT TO SUBPART D REMAIN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE STANDARD.
