Abstract: UNDER SEC. 4(A) OF THE NATURAL GAS ACT THE COMMISSION IS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE THE JUST AND REASONABLENESS OF ALLOCATION METHODS USED BY JURISDICTIONAL PIPELINES TO ALLOCATE REMAINING GAS SUPPLIES DURING CURTAILMENT PERIODS, THE COLLECTION OF FERC-541 DATA IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THAT SUCH METHODS OF ALLOCATION ARE NOT UNDULY DISCRIMINATOR BETWEEN PERSONS, LOCALITIES OR CLASSES OF SERVICE.
