This information
collection request (ICR) (OMB # 2060-014) is approved through May
of 1992, with the exception of those items which require the
reporting of sales data. The nature of the sales data the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will require to ensure
compliance with the Tier 1 phase-in requirements remains an open
issue in the rulemaking. Given this uncertainty, it is unclear that
the sales data requested in this ICR would have any practical
utility. EPA may not, therefore, collect any sales data under this
OMB number at this time. When the final rule is promulgated, EPA
must submit an ICR which provides the justification for the
specific sales data requirements necessary to implement the
rule.
