Abstract: THIS REQUEST PROVIDES A MAJOR MECHANISM WHEREBY EACH APPLICATION FOR SUBSIDY UNDER SECTION 601 OF THE MERCHANT MARINE ACT, 1936, AS AMENDED WOULD CONTAIN SUFFICIENT INFORMATION TO ASSIST THE MARITIME SUBSIDY BOARD/MARITIME ADMINISTRATOR IN MAKING THE NECESSARY DETERMINATIONS AN FINDINGS FOR APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL OF A SUBSIDY APPLICATION.
