Abstract: STATES AND UNITS OF GENERAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO HUD AND TO IMPLEMENT A COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY (CHAS) AS A CONDITION FOR RECEIVING FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE UNDER TITLE I OF THE NATIONAL AFORDABLE HOUSING ACT, THE UNITED STATES HOUSING ACT O 1937, THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AND THE STEWART B. MCKINNEY HOMELESS ASSISTANCE ACT.
