Abstract: REGULATION IS BEING AMENDED TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE CRANSTON-GONZALEZ NATIONAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT, TO PROVIDE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEREST ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR GUARANTEED LOANS, TO FURTHER CONFORM THE GUARANTEED PROGRAM WITH THE INSURED 502 RURAL HOUSING PROGRAM. TO REVISE THE METHOD OF GUARANTEEING LOANS MADE BY OTHER LENDERS, AND TO REMOVE CERTAIN OBSTACLES IN GUARANTEED LOAN
