"Questionnaire Pretesting Research" is approved according to the
Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 USC 1320 through September 1992. At
the end of this one year period, the Bureau of the Census will
provide a report to OMB covering the work conducted under this
clearance. The September 13, 1991 letter from the Bureau of the
Census is incorporate into this clearance.

CENSUS BUREAU AND SURVEY SPONSORS TO IMPROVE QUESTIONNAIRES, REDUCE
RESPONDENT BURDEN, AND ULTIMATELY INCREASE THE QUALITY OF DATA
COLLECTED IN CENSUS BUREAU CENSUSES AND SURVEYS.
