Abstract: STATE AIR MONITORING AGENCIES ARE REQUIRED TO USE EPA-DESIGNATED REFERENCE OR EQUIVALENT METHODS IN THEIR AIR MONITORING NETWORKS. MANUFACTURERS OF AIR MONITORING METHODS (E.G., AIR ANALYZERS) SEEKING EPA DESIGNATION OF THEIR PRODUCTS CARRY OUT PRESCRIBED TESTS AND SUBMI THE TEST RESULTS AND OTHER INFORMATION TO EPA IN THE FORM OF AN APPLICATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH 40 CFR PART 53.
