Abstract: RENTAL RATES, SECTION 8 HOUSING, SUBSIDIZED HOUSING, RENTAL ASSISTANC HUD NEEDS A FAST, INEXPENSIVE MEANS OF ESTIMATING SECTION 8 FAIR MARKE RENTS (FMRS). A TELEPHONE SURVEY METHODOLOGY THAT DOES THIS HAS BEEN UPDATING FACTORS AND TO TEST THE ACCURACY OF FMRS IN SELECTED AREAS. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC WOULD BE THOSE SURVEYED AND SECTION 8 RECIPIENTS.
