Pursuant to the
Paperwork Reduction Act, we have extended approval for the
information collection requirements reflected in this package, wit
the following conditions. One, MSHA continues to require submission
o miner-specific noise reports only in cases of non-compliance.
Simple written certifications of compliance are necessary when
noise standard are met. Two, MSHA continues to print a current
expiration date on MS form 2000-168.

PERMISSIBLE LEVELS. RECORDS ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO BE KEPT AT THE
MINE OF WHEN AND BY WHOM NOISE DOSIMETERS A ACOUSTICAL CALIBRATORS
ARE RECALIBRATED.
