Approved as
amended by ED's 11/24/92 memoranum to OMB. In comparing this form
with other annual forms used to collect data under the PartB
program, OMB has found that substantial overlap exists among
theforms -- especially between those for child count and least
restrictive environment. While the issue does not impact collection
through this form directly, it does impact the Part B reporting
system of which thi form is a component. Accordingly, ED shall
review all the Part B form to determine both the extent of current
duplication and the need for additional, policy-relevant data in
the future. ED shall draw from th analysis to develop recommended
revisions to these forms and related statutory or regulatory
provisions, or to explain why such revisions a not necessary.
Preferrably, these recommendations shall be part of ED
reauthorization proposal, but in no case shall they be submitted to
OM later than September 1993.
