NATIONAL CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT DATA SYSTEM WILL PROVIDE CRITICAL
AGGREGATE NATIONAL INFORMATION ON FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS CONCERNING
CHILD MALTREATMENT IN THE UNITED STATES. THE SUMMARY DATA SYSTEM
WILL MEET DATA NEEDS OF POLICY MAKERS ADMINISTRATORS,
PRACTITIONERS, AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES IN CHILD MALTREATMENT
ISSUES.
