Abstract: THE PEACE CORPS ACT REQUIRES THAT THE BACKGROUND OF ALL PEOPLE SELECTE TO BE VOLUNTEERS BE INVESTIGATED TO INSURE THAT THEIR ASSIGNMENT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE NATIONAL INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES ESTABLISHED BY THE PRESIDENT. THE INFORMATION NECESSAR TO FULFILL THIS STATUTORY REQUIREMENT IS ELICITED BY THIS FORM.
