Abstract: SURVEY OBTAINS STATISTICAL INFORMATION ON ROYALTIES, LICENSE FEES, AND OTHER RECEIPTS AND PAYMENTS FOR INTANGIBLE RIGHTS BETWEEN U.S. AND UNAFFILATED FOREIGN PERSONS. THE INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO SUPPORT U.S TRADE POLICY INITIATIVES AND WILL ALSO BE USED IN COMPILING THE U.S. BALANCE OF PAYMENTS AND THE NATIONAL INCOME AND PRODUCT ACCOUNTS.
