THIS NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO STATES REGARDING COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 1926 OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ACT RELATING TO SMOKING. THE NPRM WOULD IMPLEMENT SECTION 1926 BY SPECIFYING THE ANNUAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS SECTION.
