Abstract: THE SECRETARY APPROVED AN ALLOCATION OF 7.5 PERCENT OF THE POLLOCK TOT ALLOWABLE CATCH FOR THE BERING SEA AND ALEUTIAN ISLANDS AREA TO THE NATIVE WESTERN ALASKA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS IMPLEMENTED BY REQUESTING APPLICATIONS FROM ELIGIBLE COMMUNITIES IN ORDER TO ALLOCATE THE POLLOCK.
