Abstract: THIS REGULATION SETS OUT THE RIGHTS OF THE GOVERNMENT AND ORGANIZATION CONTRACTING WITH THE GOVERNMENT TO DATA DEVELOPED UNDER FEDERAL CONTRACTS AND DATA DEVELOPED AT PRIVATE EXPENSE. THIS WILL FACILITATE THE USE BY THE PUBLIC OF SUCH DATA AND PROMOTE RESEARCH, BOTH PUBLIC A PRIVATE, THROUGH A UNIFORM POLICY.
