Abstract: AIR POLLUTION CONTROL, ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING, NITRITIC ACID PLANTS OWNERS/OPERATORS MUST NOTIFY EPA OF CONSTRUCTION, MODIFICATION, START-UPS, SHUTDOWNS, MALFUNCTIONS, AND DATE AND RESULTS OF PERFORMANC HOURS OF OPERATION AND SHALL CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR NOX EMISSION AND SUBMIT SEMIANNUAL EXCESS EMISSION REPORTS. THE INFORMATION IS USED TO IMPLEMENT AND ENFORCE THE STANDARD.
