Abstract: PBGC NEEDS THIS INFORMATION TO PERFORM ITS DUTIES UNDER 29 U.S.C. 1391(C)(5)(A). MULTIEMPLOYER PENSION PLANS CHANGING METHODS OF ALLOCATING UNFUNDED VESTED BENEFITS AMONG CONTRIBUTING EMPLOYERS WILL SUBMIT THE INFORMATION. PBGC WILL USE THE INFORMATION TO DECIDE WHETHE THE CHANGES SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE RISK OF LOSS TO PLAN PARTICIPAN OR PBGC.
