The FCC will
make changes to the information collection per Discussions with
Judy Boley. These include renumbering gates, making the help line
numbers more visible, clarifying some instructions, and adding
additional instructions. The FCC will also add a statement to the
instructions stating that applying for a vanity number will cost
the applicant more. Finally, the FCC will perform an analysis of
the availability of lines to their customer service numbers. A
random check by OMB indicates that the numbers listed on the form
are usually busy.
