Abstract: A PERSON MAKING A CLAIM ON A TREASURY CHECK PROVIDES INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CHECK TO THE AGENCY WHICH AUTHORIZES THE ISSUANCE OF THE CHECK. THE INFORMATION IS USED TO DETERMINE IF THE CLAIMANT IS ENTITLED TO THE PROCEEDS OF THE CHECK. LIKELY CLAIMANTS ARE INDIVIDUAL RECIPIENTS OF CHECKS.
