OMB approves, in
concept, the Studies of Adverse Reproductive Outcomes in Female
Occupational Groups. Subsequently, one hour is approved for the
project. Before any future studies, based on this package, are
submitted: (1) the sample design needs to explain how the women
will be selected and, if necessary, how biases will be screened;
(2) the questionnaire needs additional testing for burden,
duplication (b/t Phase I and II and with existing records), and
respondent understanding (using cognitive testing); and (3) the
collection of samples from the women, in particular the flight
attendants, needs to address the logistical realities of the
request.
