Abstract: Every agreement between and among ocean common carriers must be filed with the Commission (46 U.S.C. app. 1705). The Commission reviews these agreements to determine statutory compliance with the Shipping Act of 1984. The information collected under 46 CFR 572 is necessary for the statutory evaluation of filed agreements.
