Abstract: The Annual Estimate of Requirements (AER) is the basic P.L. 480, title II, program document that provides information critical for program planning and for determining the budgeting for the P.L. 480, title II, Food for Peace program. The AERs include planned recipient and ration levels, number of distribution, operating reserves needed, and inventories on hand. There are 19 nonprofit voluntary agencies administering the P.L. 480, title II, program.
