This information collection is approved, as HHS has agreed, through 12/97 under the following conditions. Upon a submission, HHS has agreed to the following conditions: 1. Report on the status, respondent satisfaction, and quality of the information received in the first collection cycle. 2. Report on its efforts to adopt EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) according to FIPS 161-2 for grantmaking and reporting purposes. 3. Submit the OPA reporting as a separate collection.

A Uniform Data System (UDS) has been developed for primary care and family planning grantees funded by the Bureau of Primary Health Care and the Office of Population Affairs. The UDS consolidates the Bureau Common Reporting Requirements (BCRR) and reporting requirements in grant applications and progress reports.
