Abstract: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106 specifies labeling and performance requirements for all motor vehicle brake hose assemblies, brake hose and fitting manufacturers for automative vehicles. Each manufacturer must register their identification marks with NHTSA to facilitate the recall of defective material.
