In accordance
with the PRA and 5 CFR 1320 this ICR is disapproved and
continued.The Forest Service appears to have grossly under-
estimated the burden hours. For example, the justification mentions
16 hours of burden time for the preparation of sourcing area
applications and 3 hours for the preparation of annual reports.
These burden hours do not appear to have been added into the total
burden hours. Any resubmission shall include an improved
justification statement and revised burden estimates.

Implements the Forest Resource
Conservation and Shortage Relief Act of 1990. Information will be
used to monitor compliance and for enforcement. The respondents are
companies within the timber industry who purchase Forest Service
timber sales or logs.
