Section 204 of the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act provides that each foreign nation with which the U.S. has entered into a Governing International Fishery Agreement may submit annual applications to fish in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone. The application information enables NOAA to accomplish the permitting provisions of the Act.
