The Office of Justice Programs (OJP),
Office for Civil Rights, is seeking OMB approval for an "EEOP short
form" and "certification" form to be forwarded to all approved
grantees with the award letter. The EEOP short form has been
developed to reduce the amount of paperwork needed to prepare EEOPs
for those grantees receiving Federal financial assistance over
$500,000, pursuant to 28 CFR 42.304. The certification form has
been developed for signature by all awarded grantees to certify
that they have an EEOP on file, pursuant to 28 CFR 42.305.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
