With the importance of professional development to school reform and excellence in teaching and learning, there is an immediate need to identify and recognize model professional development programs throughout the country that have schoolwide impact on student success and that are aligned with the recently developed Principles of Professional Development. The Department will solicit applications from those operating effective professional development activities at the pre-K through 12 level in schools and school districts, evaluate them with the help of professional educators (who will confirm...).
