The Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938, as amended, provides for pooling allotments for any commodity for any land from which the owner is displaced because of acquisition of the land by any Federal, State, or local agency having right of eminent domain. The forms ASCS-177 and ASCS-178 are used to establish the record of the producer's pooled allotments or bases and to request a transfer of the pooled allotments or bases to other owned land.
