This ICR is
withdrawn and continued at the request of EPA/OSWER as of July 31,
1996. The below listed activities are approved for 24 months.
(Refer to EPA's supporting statement for further detail on these
activities.) These approved activities are in general updating data
collected, sampling,and analysis for industries which were
previously surveyed by a Section 3007 questionairre. 1. Dyes and
pigments: Survey updates, 20 events x 28 hours Sampling/analysis,
10 events x 40 hours. 2. Solvents: Survey updates, 75 events x 20
hours. 3. Petroleum Refining: Survey updates, 85 events x 20 hours.
4. Chlorinated Aliphatics: Sampling/analysis, 14 events x 16 hours.
In addition, EPA is authorized to collect facts or opinions through
nonstandardized follow-up questions designed to clarify responses
to previosuly approved collections of information, as allowed by
the Paperwork Reduction Act regulation at 5 CFR 1320.3(h)(9).
