NAREL's efforts to make data from ERAMS available to the public and
other agencies in a standard electronic format suitable for
quantitative data analysis and manipulation. Future submissions of
this request should include 1) an update on progress in this area,
2) a copy of the latest quarterly report, and 3) a summary of the
results of NAREL's latest survey of its respondents.

The Environment Rediation Ambient
Monitoring System (ERAMS) helps EPA assess levels of radio activity
in the nation's air, milk, precipitation, drinking water, and
surface water. ERAMS has monitoring stations in all 50 states and
some american territor- ies. Respondents voluntarily collect
samples and submit them for EPA analysis.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
