Abstract: The collection provides essential information to the Coast Guard for the initial planning and scheduling of Inspection for Certification exams. The Application for Waiver provides the Coast Guard with information necessary to analyze the particular national defense consideration for waiver of inspection laws. The respondent population is the owner, operator, agent, masters, or interested U.S. Government agency of a vessel.
