Food processors are required to use
values established in 21 CFR 101.12 for determining the appropriate
serving size for their products. 21 CFR 101.12(h) provides for
petitions to add to or amend the values used in establishing a
standard serving size. 21 CFR 101.12(h) sets forth the information
the petitioner (e.g., a food manufacturer) is required to
supply.
