FCC's ongoing efforts to streamline its EEO rules and policies,
particularly where they impose burdens, as defined by the Paperwork
Reduction Act, on businesses or individuals. OMB notes the comments
of Northern Television, Inc. filed with the Commission in MM Docket
96-18 on August 12, 1996. The FCC shall revise the requirements
contained in this collection depending upon the actions adopted in
this Docket.

Section 73.2080 requires that each
broadcast station shall establish, maintain, and carry out a
program to assure equal employment opportunity in every aspect of a
station's policy and practice. Data is used by a broadcast licensee
in preparation of its Broadcast EEO Program Report (FCC 396)
submitted with its application for renewal of license and its
Broadcast Annual Employment Report (FCC form 395-B) submitted once
a year.
