costs incurred by the respondents in addition to their labor hours
of postage, copying expenses; any additional computer, filing
system or storage that are required by this rule which are outside
of normal business practices. The FBI should have garnered enough
exeperience in implementing this rule to give us an adequete
assessment at that time.

This rule establishes the procedures
whereby telecommunications carriers can recover the costs
associated with complying with the Communications Assistance for
Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), which went into effect October 25,
1994.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
