Abstract: We will conduct enumeration at Group Quarters (GQs) during the 1997 American Community Survey (ACS) test. A requirement for enumerating individuals at a GQ is to establish contact with the facility beforehand to obtain some information about the facility and the people who stay there. This is the purpose of the GQ Facility Questionnaire operation. Staff from the Detriot Regional Office (RO) will conduct the facility questionnaire by telephone with each sample facility to learn more about the facility, its residents and the types of records it maintains on its residents.
