Abstract: NOAA is proposing to make a number of changes to existing reporting requirements on fisherman, fish processors, and buying stations in the Alaska region. The changes include making Federal fisheries and processor permits valid for 3 instead of 1 year, only requiring shoreside processors and vessels operating solely as motherships in Alaska State waters to obtain a processor permit, and the acquisition of additional community development program information on logbooks. A number of other, smaller changes are also being made.
