Vessels with a capacity of 250 barrels
or more of oil or hazardous materials must have written procedures
for transfers to or from the vessel and from tank to tank within
the vessel. Oceangoing ships 40 feet in length or more, engaged in
commercial operations or with a galley and berths, must have
written management plans for the handling and disposal of ship
generated garbarge.
