Owners or operators of primary aluminum reduction plants are required to submit initial notification and performance test reports. They must also maintain daily records of anode and aluminum production, raw material feed rates, and potline voltage. Monthly performance testing is required unless facility has EPA approval to conduct annual testing. The information collection enables both the Agency and individual facilities to verify compliance with the emission standards.
