Abstract: The Federal Acquisition Regulation request that the successful offeror responding to a contract solicitation provide information as to its forecast of helium required for the performance of the contract. Promptly upon award of any subcontract or order that involves a major helium requirement, the contractor shall provide to the Bureau of Mines, and to the contracting officer, written notification that includes the prime contract number; the name, address and telephone number of subcontractor, including a point of contact; and a copy of the subcontractor's helium requirement forecast.
