Section 73.37(d) requires applicants
for a new or major change AM broadcast station to make a
satisfactory showing if new or modified nightime operation by a
Class B station is proposed. Section 73.37(f) requires
modifications that result in spacing(s) that fail to meet any
separations to include a showing that an adjustment has been made.
The data is used by FCC staff to ensure that objectionable
interference will not be caused to other authorized AM
stations.
