Reporting and recordkeeping
requirements for those States that voluntarily take the lead in
remedial activities at superfund sites as specified in the NCP.
These requirements represent the effort necessary to evaluate,
select, and defend remedial actions. In addition, this ICR
addresses the recordkeeping and reporting provisions of the NCP
that affect communities voluntarily providing their concerns to the
lead agency about the superfund process.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
