Abstract: This action modifies certain provisions of the final rule establishing standards and requirements for reformulated (RFG) and conventional gasoline pursuant to subsection 211(k) of the Clean Air Act. These modifications relate to emissions standards, compliance-related requirements, and enforcement provisions. These modifications will make RFG and conventional gasoline regulations more workable for industry and result in greater flexibility for parties to demonstrate compliance with emissions standards. Certain modifications require a modest increase in information collection activities.
