Abstract: Certain agreements between and among ocean common carriers and marine terminal operators are required to be filed with the Commission under section 5 of the 1984 Shipping Act. The Commission reviews these agreements to determine statutory compliance with the 1984 Act and the Commission's rules. The information collected under 46 CFR 572 is necessary for the statutory evaluation of filed agreements.
