Under the Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) program, records must be kept and notification reports must be developed identifying hazardous waste under 40 CFR part 268.7 so that they can be treated to meet the LDR treatment standards under section 268.40. Certification must indicate treatment has occured. Variances from the treatment standards must be applied for under section 268.44.
